The Microsoft Project Central Server Status applicaton is a handy tool you can use in order to verify the status of the server where you have installed Microsoft Project Central. The tool consists of two primary parts: the file ping.asp, which resides on the server, and the tool itself, which resides on a separate computer.
You can either use the Server Status tool to quickly determine the status of the server, or you can set up a Web page so that others can see the status on the Web (a sample Active Server Page is provided - ServStat.asp).
